Tips for smooth jobs.
- Write clear requirements. Say exactly what you’ll deliver, so there’s no argument about what done means.
- Keep it in the thread. Messages and files in the deal’s thread are what a moderator looks at.
- Ask for release when you’re done. If your client goes quiet for 14 days after that, the money is released to you.
- Mind the deadlines. Milestone proof is approved after 7 days with no reply from your client.

How do clients pay me?
Clients on ChekBuk can pay your chektag, email or phone, or fund an escrow for the job. You can also receive digital dollars from an outside wallet.
Does my client need a ChekBuk account?
To pay you through ChekBuk or fund an escrow, yes. Invite them by email: they sign up with that email and verify their identity. Clients with an outside crypto wallet can send you digital dollars instead.
What if a client says the work isn’t done?
Either side can raise a dispute. A ChekBuk moderator reviews the terms, the proof and the thread, then releases the money, refunds the client or splits it.
What does it cost?
Holding balances is free. Standard escrow is free, and Verified escrow is 1.5% with a $5 minimum and a $250 maximum. Converting has no separate fee, and withdrawal fees show before you confirm.
