Know the risks.
Digital dollars are useful, and they aren’t the same as dollars in a bank. Here is what that means.
- Not bank deposits. They aren’t covered by any deposit insurance.
- Value can fall. They’re designed to track the US dollar, but they can lose that link and fall in value.
- Sends are final. A send to an outside wallet can’t be reversed once it’s on the network. Check the address and network.
- Right network only. Sending a coin on a network we don’t support can mean losing it for good.
- Issued by others. Third parties issue digital dollars. ChekBuk doesn’t issue or guarantee them.
- Screened for sanctions. We may block or delay sends to addresses we see as high risk.

What are digital dollars?
Stablecoins such as USDT and USDC, designed to track the US dollar. They’re useful when you need a dollar balance that can move to any wallet. They aren’t bank deposits, aren’t covered by deposit insurance, and their value can fall.
Which digital dollars does ChekBuk support?
Currently USDT, USDC and USDG. The coins and networks you can use are shown in the app and may change.
What if I send to the wrong address?
Sends to outside wallets can’t be reversed once they’re on the network, and we can’t recover them. Always check the address and the network before you confirm.
Why do you screen wallet addresses?
We check addresses against government sanctions lists before money leaves, to keep ChekBuk and its members away from financial crime.
